The review will consider:

• whether the legislative framework for the Tax Practitioners Board delivers on its policy objectives to ensure that tax agent services are provided to the public in accordance with appropriate standards of professional and ethical conduct
• the current and future suitability and effectiveness of the legislative and governance framework.

The review will:

• consider how the regulatory framework could better enable the provision of high quality, accessible and affordable financial advice for retail clients
• include examination of the legislative framework, whether consent arrangements are working effectively, actions undertaken by ASIC and the role of financial services entities and professional associations.

This report covers the economic outlook for 2018–19 and 2019–20. It's based on domestic and international data released up to 3 October 2018.

• A commissioned research report into gaps in mental health support and services for Australian small business owners during critical business challenge points
• it's increased our knowledge of mental ill‑health issues affecting small business owners
• will help to inform policy development.

• The government supports 20 of the Review's 28 recommendations in full, in-part or in-principle
