In short
The Regulatory Initiatives Grid (RIG) is a list of announced and publicised reform priorities and initiatives.
It lists reforms that will have a significant impact on the financial sector over the next 2 years.
Publishing the RIG:
- increases transparency and informs stakeholders about the strategic direction of regulatory reform
- supports effective engagement between the financial sector, government and regulators
- makes it easier to identify common challenges and risks
- fosters collaboration on priorities
- supports change management in the financial sector
- helps businesses to plan and reduce the costs of addressing reforms and regulatory efforts.
First edition
Future editions
We will publish Edition 2 in September 2025.
After this we will publish the RIG twice a year, in March and September.
