In short
Treasury has released our new website in Beta.
What’s changed:
- updated the technology behind the website
- designed a new structure to make it easier to find what you’re after
- rewritten the content so it’s easier to understand.
Redevelopment project
We’re updating the Treasury website to make it easier for everyone to use. Whether you're just curious about what we do, or you're looking for detailed economic information.
To get to the beta version, we’ve done a lot of work. This includes coming up with ideas, designing new layouts, talking to users, testing early versions, and building the site step by step. All of this helps us make sure we’re heading in the right direction.
Beta stage
The beta stage for a website is where we show you where we are in the project. We release it in an incomplete form so our users can interact with it and provide feedback.
While the website isn’t complete it will have most of our core content and enough functionality so you can use it like the real thing.
As this beta version of the website is not final some of the things you’re used to seeing may not be here.
For the latest information you should always check back with our current website treasury.gov.au
