The Joint Economic Forecasting Group (JEFG) consisted of the:
- Treasury
- Reserve Bank of Australia
- Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
- Department of Finance and Deregulation
- Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The group discuss the domestic and global outlook with an informal update provided in June. The JEFG Committee met 3 times a year.
JEFG report
In consultation with the other partners Treasury prepared a JEFG report.
The report provided our assessment of the domestic and global outlook, including revised economic forecasts. We published the reports 2.5 years after their release.
The earliest available is the March Quarter, 2008 report, published in 2012.
The latest available is the September Quarter, 2018 report, published in 2021.
